artist's note:  This painting is the view of Boquillas  from Texas' side of the Texas & Mexico border soon to be open for a legal crossing of the Rio Grande into Mexico.

I've always loved the view of Boquillas and the way the houses and building seem to be part of the landscape, with the del Carmen Mountains in the background.
