This 1961 map was revised in 1980 with the census of 1981 and highways of 1982. There are several interesting title
locations of mountains, such as The Christmas Mountains and Corazones Peaks. Taurus Mesa Ranch is shown.
Terlingua Ranch was probably added in the 1980 updated version. The Terlingua Post Office is shown at Terlingua
Creek, on Fulcher Ranch, (moved there about 1949 from the Chisos Mine). Also the community center of
Terlingua is shown on 170 at the old South County road, (presently called Fulcher Road). Study Butte is located
at the Study Butte Mine, east of Rough Run.
